2000 concorde transmission

2000 concorde transmission
PLEASE HELP!
Transmission completely failed, made "electric" grinding noise, no gears at all, and even rolled in park. I towed it home, then tried it and it ran and drove absolutely fine. Transmission shop said no codes came up upon testing, and said probably speed sensor or transmission solenoid pack. Drove car 150+- miles, and it happened again. This time it only drove off the tow chain to its parking space and tranny comletely quit for good. Research tells me different symptoms for bad speed sensor or solenoid pack. ANY IDEAS?!
