Yes sir. And all 4 wheels had a solid steady stream of fluid so no air the eye could detect anyway.
can u pump up the brakes with out the engine running and it is hard as a rock?
Yes. I did check that and the pedal does get hard as a rock with the car off and pumping the pedal.
O'k. I have two questions. One, if any of my calipers are bad/failing, replacing the pads with new ones ( because they would be thicker than mine) would give me a stiffer and/or higher pedal correct? And two, I have checked for vacume leaks and there are none that I can detect. But, big but here, the two small seals connecting my egr tubes to the left and right sides of my upper intake plenum are shot and need to be replaced. I do have the new seals. Can this effect vacume pressure with the brakes?
U would just have uneven brake wear if a caliper was sticking not go to the floor DO this disconnect your brake booster and cap it off the vac line then see what U have there.
Should I pull the check valve out of the booster as well or just the vac line?
Or do you mean take the vac line off the engine side and cap it?
which ever u can get to
The easiest side to get to with the booster vac would be the engine side. So pull it off and block it up. What will this do as far as brake feel?
should be normal for 2 pumps then real hard
