2004 300m base, ticking and squealing

Got an 04 300m about a week ago. 179k on it. So far it's a disaster.

There is a loud ticking/tapping that sounds like it's top coming from the drivers side head. Did an oil change and added Rislone (or whatever it's called) about 50 miles ago and there's been no change.

Other issue is the squealing. It squeals if I turn on the AC, turn the wheels full lock, even for a second (I know it's bad for the car, but it happens sometimes), and will sometimes just do it randomly after start up, it's also done it with the cruise set going down the highway. Just a one or two second squeal then it's gone.

Previous owner replaced the idler pulley the morning I got it. When I test drove it, none of this happened. It ran and drove great. Check engine light was on, but he said it was for an EVAP leak or something, and that was it. Car drove great, when I picked it up, however, it had the tick, and developed the squeal the same day. I don't think the two are related, but I'm not a mechanic.

Previous owner did the following in the last year:

Remanufactured alternator, radiator, radiator hoses, trans lines, heater core, AC compressor, AC lines, and last tune up was about 10k ago. Last oil change before I did one yesterday was around 3k ago.

Post up a video, may help. Could be the new belt just needs to be readjusted.
