I just finished replacing the evaporator on my wife's 2004 Concorde Lxi, and thought I'd share the experience here. The job takes a while, but if you have patience (and an understanding wife) you can do it.

Congrats. First one took me 12+ hours of labor........last one 5 hours from start to finish. Done 4 so far.....

 

Im down to about 4 5 hours myself I did a jeep heater core in an 02 2.5 hours =)

 

OK - now you guys are just showing off!

In hindsight I definitely see how I could have done this much quicker with the knowledge I have now. The first time is the most daunting because you don't know what is really involved. It helps that our car was not very new because I wasn't really concerned about cosmetic damage like I would be if I was working on a customer's brand new car...
