Hello all my son had a issue last night with his 92 fifth ave 88k miles and said it puttered out. Ok well went and test drove it this morning and it will not shift up past second. Went to auto zone and using the key on/off 5 times pulled up code 12 and 32 which from his book was a maybe egr and a loss of power in the last 50 cycles. Done a bunch of reading and most of what i can see is leading me to the TCM located passenger inside fender, is there any way to reset the TCM? I did disconnect the - bat cable for about 5 mins that didnt seem to work. Any help would be appriciated. Thanks

side note fluid is at the correct level not burnt engine itself runs very smooth no leaks other than a slightly noisy air compressor its a solid little car
