Default 99 Chrysler Concorde

My 1999 Chrysler Concorde want go into any gear. It's never given any transmission problems before. Today while driving home, it started lurching somewhat, I took it straight home and checked the fluid. Fluid level was ok. Now the transmission will not go into any gear. You can see the tech drop as you slide the shift lever in an out of gear. It makes an almost unbearable whine for a few seconds.

Default Chrysler

The previous owner (5000 miles ago) said the car would occasionally flash a check engine light for a transmission code, but the check light is not on now, so I never paid any attention to it, because the car drove flawlessly.

Default Trans

The car doesnt flash any codes using the key trick, i tried several times. The check engine light is not on. I added some Lucas Trans additive to it, just to see. No difference. Do you this is a mechanical issue or a sensor?

Default scrap

My mechanic thinks the transmission needs rebuilding, so I'm just going to scrap the car. I hate to do it, but these cars have zero resale value, and for the price of a transmission I can buy another car.....

I decided to take a shot, and buy a tranny computer and I actually bought the whole valve body assembly complete with the soloinoid pack.

, I didnt get a chance to replace any of these items because......To my distress, the battery was completely dead in the car. I put in a new battery and tried to start the car. The car made a few sputters and now refuses to start, it cranks fine but now it doesnt sound like its getting any spark, i pulled a spark plug and cranked the engine over, no spark.

Default Computer replacement(s)

Replaced the TCU under the hood breaker box and the ECU, had zero affect.
