Point well taken and thanks. I took the front right side of the car apart last night in an effort to clean all the battery related points. What a deal! The nut and bolt on the positive clamp on the battery were rusted together solid. I wish I had known about how to correctly remove the air cleaner box. I removed the two bolts that hold down what becomes the anchor for the rubber grommet that secures the air box. I discovered that the battery was put in June of 2005 so I think I will go ahead and put a new one in and use stainless steel bolt and nut on the pos battery terminal.

I did the cleaning of the battery posts and discovered that the battery was installed in '05 so while I had it out I replaced it just to be on the safe side. I had no idea that a batt would last that long. I just ordered a camshaft sensor from the local Chrysler and it will be here Friday.

I picked up the Cam sensor Saturday from local MOPAR/Chrysler and installed it Wednesday, 6-25, after dreading the job for several days. It went very smoothly and the car suns great. I cuda got a free sensor as a lifetime warranty on the one I purchased from O'Reilly Auto Parts a year or more ago but I took the advise of our wiser MOPARerans and went OEM with a 12 month warranty. If this one goes I will go back to aftermarket since they will be free. The crankshaft sensor is from NAPA from a year or so ago.
