Air bag stays on.
 

Hello:

I just recently registered and joined this community and I have a problem with the air bag lite staying on in my 2003 Chrysler 300 Special M 3.5ltr K motor.

I have just replaced the clock spring this am and the air bag lite is still on.

The installer checked the codes and the drivers side codes check out OK,but we got this code,RIGHT SIACM DTC INTERROGATE RIGHT SIACM,indicating that there is a problem with passager side air bag.

It could be a loose wire or a module malfuction. I sat in the passager seat but the lite still stays on.

Has anyone had this problem and what was the outcome?

Symptom:
NO RIGHT SIACM MESSAGE
When Monitored and Set Condition:
NO RIGHT SIACM MESSAGE
When Monitored: With ignition on, the ACM monitors the PCI Bus for the Right Side
Impact Airbag Control Module status message. The Right SIACM transmits the status
message to the ACM at 1 - second intervals.
Set Condition: If the ACM fails to see the Right SIACM status message on the PCI Bus
for 10 seconds the code will set.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
NO RIGHT SIACM MESSAGE
ACM, NO RIGHT SIACM MESSAGE
STORED CODE OR INTERMITTENT CONDITION
ACTIVE CODE PRESENT
