A/C controls problem

I have a 2000 concorde. It has manual heater/ac controls. when I first bought the car, a couple of weeks ago, there was nothing but fan controls working. No temperature control, no Vent control, no A/C, and no Rear deforst. I have done some pretty heavy reading on the subject and have done every thing I can think of. I finally took it to a local mechanic who said that it was the control head unit it self. I bought a used one from LKQ and followed the bulletin about re-calibrating the modules bypulling the M-1 fuse. Long story short...Ican hearmovment in vents now but no A/C no Rear defrost, airdoes'nt come outthe dash vents...only the dash defrost. Any tips on what to check next???

RE: A/C controls problem

well u are having the same issues that I am currently repairing at work, on an 03 intrepid same body style. The BCM controls the doors and inputs from the control head like the ac light and defrost. The bcm is a tough part 400 to 600 depends on what body ine u have. Replacement is not to bad.

RE: A/C controls problem

Is that something i can pick-up at my local used parts dealer and it fix the problem? Does it half to be re-programed by Chrysler or can I do it. (or should I just take it in to the dealer?) I am trying to sell the car so I really don't want to put anymore $$$ than I have to.
