My '00 300m has been making a sort of clunking sound that as best I can tell is coming from the rear passenger tire area (or the suspension or links for that rear wheel). It sort of sounds like someone giving a good whack to an empty coffee can. Seems to happen when I'm driving over uneven pavement.

What rear suspension part could be making that noise?

Just had a similar problem,it was a trailing arm.
