Default Concorde electrical short?

I've been having a very weird problem with my 2000 concorde lxi. The car looses power as if the battery is dying and sometimes it cuts off. When I turn the ignition, nothing happens, no interior lights or anything. However, if I press the brake pedal, the power returns and the car will crank. Is this a sign of an electrical short in the car? I've noticed some corrosion on the battery terminal and had the battery tested. Auto Zone said that the battery was fine, but Advance begs to differ. They said that the battery needs replacing. Any one have a solution?
Thanks

if u drive it to some place and have the battery tested 9 time out of 10 the battery will check out fine because u drove it there and it is charged up. Look at the cables and make sure they are tight they have been known to fall apart at eh battery.
