CONCORDE OIL LEAK

Hello,

I have a minor oil leak on the driver's side of my 2001 CC with the 2.7 L engine. An oil sheen forms at the bottom of the oil pan. I've looked around as best I could and was wondering besides the oil pan gasket, are there any other potential leakage points on that side of the engine? The oil pressure sender is located on the passenger side and I'm sure that that unit is not leaking. Thanks...

Bill

have you looked around the oil pressure sensor? Those are prone to giong bad, then leaking and you none the wiser since it went out.

any crack in the oil pan?

RE: CONCORDE OIL LEAK

Six months agoI changed the oil pressure sensor. I recently checked it and its definitelyNOT leaking. The drip is coming from the driver's side but its hard to see due to the alternator and cooling hose interference. I've seen on some other sites that block plugs can fail (I hope not!). I have to change the oil this weekend so I'll try and get some pictures, as requested.

Thanks,
Bill
