Did you ever get this worked out, and if so, what was the outcome?
edit: I found the source of the same problem with my '06 T&C 3.3. It turned out to be a broken sensor ground wire in the main harness. If you start the car, and start moving the harness , you will probably be able to make the engine die. In the harness where it splits to go around the motor, there is a connection of 4 wires (mine were blue) that are covered in shrink wrap that looks like it could be a fusable link. It is actually just a cheap connection that looks like it was hotglued and shrink wrapped. Over time the constant movement of the harness will cause one of the wires to separate from the others but the glue holds it in place just enough to cause an intermittent problem. I cut out the bad part and re-spliced the wires and all is well now. I'll post up some pics of the affected wires and harness area as soon as I upload them.
