How to remove/install battery in 2000 LHS?

Tomorrow, I'll be picking up this LHS that's been sitting for several months. The battery is dead. (Tried charging it, and was able to start it, but still dead after driving several miles.)

I remembered seeing that the battery is not exposed under the hood like in MOST cars, and I forgot to check the owner's manual in the vehicle, so I'm not sure the instructions to remove/install the battery are there, so, could I ask this esteemed group how to do this?

turn the steering wheel all the way to the right remove the 1/4 screws from the wheel well area for the battery cover open hood remove air filter housing undo mount for battery undo + cable end pull battery toward tire undo _ cable then u can slide the battery out side ways and through the wheel and fender.

How does one remove the air filter housing? There appear to be three connection points; two to the side of the vehicle (these are two holes in the housing that lead to the side), but using a phillips screwdriver does not "find" the screw. The single connection point closest to the radiator looks like it should just pop right off, but it's not budging after a fair amount of tugging.

May need a little soapy water as lube, will pop right out of grommet...

Thanks FIREM,

I found this on wikiAnswers before I saw your reply; posting here for future reference:
On the right side of the housing (facing the car) you'll notice a fastener with no apparent means of removal. This is a friction grommet, akin to the snaps on a baby's shirt. Grip the housing right above this fastener and give it a firm pull upwards. The housing should pop out over the fastener. The left side is not fastened - there are two "bumpers" that hold it in place on that side.
I will say it took a fair amount of tugging to get this off. Probably didn't help that it's 20 degrees outside and the housing probably hasn't been pulled off in years, possibly never.
