Overhead Console Removal
 

Can anyone tell me how to remove the overhead console in a 2003 Concorde? After I remove the single screw on the windshield side of the console, there still seems to be something holding it. I did not know if there were tabs or clips of some kind, and did not want to apply any pressure without know what is holding it.

clips just pull down

Just removed the overhead console from 2000 Chrysler LHS. After removing the screw by the windshield side, pull down on the sides of the console to release the two clips that hold it to frame. The clips are located near the light bezel. Even though it seems that the console will break, it won't. These are clips that expand when locked in place.

From one handy man to another it is nice to see an owner who is willing to get his hands dirty and spend time fixing their own vehicle.
