Speed Limiter

I am the owner of a 2005 Chrysler 300 touring edition with the 3.5L high output V/6. I bought and installed a Jet brand computer chip as I had read somwhere(incorrectly it seems)that this would defeat the factory top speed limiter.Even though my cars tachometer does not have a redline.I have noticed that under full throttle acceleration the car shifts gears at around 6500 RPM. What I have also learned is that on the highway the car will go no faster than 185 KMH. At this speed the car is only reving at 3900 RPM. I live in Canada thats why my speed figures are in KMH as opposed to MPH. What I would like to know is how to disable the top speed limiter long enough to find out what my cars real top speed is. If anyone can help I would be thrilled. Please send your answers to my inbox under the name of Johnny B. Thank you

Well at 185 KMH is about 115 MPH i think thats fast enough on 4 wheels if you want speed go buy a suzuki gsxr 1000 they go about 189MPH which is about 305 KMH....Good Luck

RE: Speed Limiter

I do have a bike and I know it is quite capable of going very fast. I wouldn't even think about going that fast on two wheels with only leathers and a helmet to protect me. I was just curious as to what my car is capable of. Thanks for your input though.
