Stuck in a ditch

My boy told me that he got stuck in a ditch the other night. He was driving down a ice covered dirt road with rain on top when he lost control. He had a friend hook on to the rear axle shaft, i believe, to pull him out. He said the tire looks like it is crooked now. He has a chrysler concorde '95 with a 3.5 litre. Does anyone out there know if there is a simple rememdy to this latest in a string of problems with this car (mostly my boy)??? Thanks for your help. Frustrated DAD

RE: Stuck in a ditch

I would bet that he hit something once he got stuck or on his way into the ditch. i would suggest looking at the control arms and the strut and checking them out against the other side to see if yolu can see anything is bent. let us know what you find out.

RE: Stuck in a ditch

Took the car to a mechanic the other day and he said to take it to an alignment place. So, hopefully not tooooooo expensive.!!! I looked at it along with the mechanic and the control arm where it attaches to the body of the car look a little bent. Not much though.

RE: Stuck in a ditch

I went with my son to the garage where they align cars. They charged him 50 bucks to fix the rear passenger side tire. They also said he needs new ball joints and tie rods and not to wait too long to get them fixed. My boy just got his liscense taken away for a MIP so, guess we won't have to worry about the car much anyway. Thanks ALL T bell and the Bells
