Correction.

Correction: The replacement part i bought has the part number 04602286AE..

if i buy the correct one that matches my part number, will i be able to plug and play or do i need to get it programmed to my vin number?

BCM's can be a little tricky in LH Cars. Options in the "donor" car need to match the car the BCM is installed in to avoid reprogramming.
Last two letters are the revision code of the base part. AE would be and earlier version of AH
Security key is tied to the PCM so no real issues there but odometer may show mileage in the BCM

Thanks for the reply and...

If all of the features are the same will it worm despite the vin number being different?

Will work even if vin does not match.
Not sure what VIN will appear if your state inspection plugs in during annual renewal (Jersey does)

Thats interesting. So what about the earlier version?
if the earlier version is from a vehicle with the same features, is it possible that itll work out?
