Default 2001 Sebring Convertible Radio Question

Just bought a Chrysler 2001 Sebring Convertible. The radio is a cassette. I would like to swap it for a factory CD from the same period. Do I need a code or anything to do this like the GM vehicles from the mid 2000's do? If so can I get this code without dealing with the dealer? Also what does the harness on the back of this radio look like. I would like to be able to buy the radio without having to uninstall mine first.

FYI. I like the large buttons on the factory radio and prefer not having to look at the adapter. This is why I am not going after market.
