Blown door speakers on 2000 Concorde LXI
 

I was driving my car this evening and I had the volume up a little high and now the speakers in the door are now making a cracking sound.I want to replace the speakers but I'm not sure of the speaker size,are they 5.25 or 6 and a half?Also,do I have to remove the door panel to replace them?at the same time I'm going to replace the tweeters(already have them).I just want to upgrade the front as the back is already done.Thanks

Ok,I found out that they're 6 1/2 inch speakers and that I need a ring to install and that the door panel has to be removed by removing 3 screws on the door and pry off grill with flat scewdriver to remove screws that are located there and then unclip the door handle.I'm just answering myself in case someone else falls on this post and has an answer.
