Factory installed PCI bus Uconnect (Sort Of)

Hey all,
I bought a 2008 Pacifica and it does not have the factory UConnect. I have acquired the module, Harness to the A-Pillar and Mirror specific to the Pacifica and installed it.
The Uconnect seems to do nothing and I believe that the PCI bus is not seeing the Telematics Module 5091004AB. The Pacifica is pre-wired for the module that plugs in under the center console at the 2nd seat row (these wire go up to the dash harness. The Mirror replaces the factory auto dim mirror and the harness runs to the driver's side A-Pillar and into the 8 position connector shared with the sunroof power that also connects to the dash harness.
I went off the factory wire diagrams and can find no connections to the radio besides the PCI Bus wire. It appears the amplifier is wired to the module on 4 input wires and the PCI bus wire to enable the Uconnect to over ride the audio.video sound. I know this module acts a little different than the newer or older ones where it has to be addressed on the PCI bus. Should the computer automatically address the module, do I have to reset the PCI bus, or take it to the dealer to have them do it?
Thanks for any help!
