08 TC with the mygig touchscreen ren system. Plays music, DVDs, radio all fine. The screen messes up shortly after coming on. Everything else still works just the screen is unreadable. The software has been updated with no help. New unit time?

That looks like a loose connection issue. Probably one of the ribbon cables internally. If it were me, I'd open it up and re-seat all connections. But I've opened up a fair share of electronics before. Either you can take a chance and try the same, have a professional attempt this for you or replace the unit.

 

I have the same issue. Are there instructions or a video of someone accessing the MyGig somewhere?
