Is it just my vans system or do others have issue were the system may take 1 to 2 mins to start sometimes and will take up to 5 mins to connect to my phone via bluetooth. Also are they ever going to update firmware on the system or is it a dead product after it leaves the factory?

 

you have the 8.4 inch screen in that one right? I am having uconnect problems since updating firmware in the phone, wont stay paired, so you are saying it just takes a while to connect. Can you tell me what kind of phone and what version of operating system you have if you have an android phone.

 

I have been complaining about Uconnect in the Chrysler T&C forum.
Support from Chrysler on this product is not good. and I am unhappy.

FYI - I have learned that Uconnect is made by Johnston Controls. They market it under the name Blue Connect but refer all technical questions to Chrysler so we are SOL

 

Ya, when I took mine in they didn't even take it into service they had a salesman try to pair the phones and he was feeling all cocky he got them to pair....lasted til my wife got half way home. I suspect Chrysler is refusing warranty claims, but what do I know. Used to work there, know how things work????? There is no support from Samsung the phone maker or Android-Google that I could get they all say contact your dealer.

 

I just bought a new 2013 Town and Country, had a 2008 Dodge Minivan and its Uconnect worked find with my HTC Merge phone. The new car will not pair with my phone except on rare occasions. I have had the car a week and made ONE call on it. Went to my carrier and they said "Buy a new phone". No response from Chrysler. Any ideas? If it paired and connected once it should do it all of the time...Also when it is paired and connected I cannot get the phonebook to download. Any help???

 

I can never keep my phone paired with the uconnect on my 09 T&C.. Also have a 2012 KIA that won't stay paired.. Have been through several phone and all seem to work for a short time then drop the connections.. Seems uconnect is and on again, off again bluethooth letdown for both Chrysler and KIA. Both auto maker dealers have helped me re-set the Uconnect on both vehicles (seems to be working fine at the time) but the follow day all falls to the south again. My vehicles just don't like me.

 

Does anyone know if the Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE will work with the 2013 Town and Country Van with a radio that says RHB on the bottom right? My HTC Merge will not work but I can change to this one for a pittance. Thanks in advance.
