RE: Car dealer sues Mercedes over faulty 17m CLK GTR

Three letters of understatement... O...M...G!

I can understand DC and Mercedez not backing up their contract cus this thing is so expensive but WTF. How can so many problems exist and the car only be driven 10 blocks? Sounds like they had a car they used for looks only (kind of like mannicans in a store window) and threw in a motor and let it go. So many problems. That's fishy though. I know that they had to have done something crazy to release a car that falls apart like that. I bet they turned a corner or two before they sold it so they could make good profit. It's not like someone pays 1.7 million dollars for a car everyday. I was planning on buying a viper in my near future or some other expensive car, but hearing this will make me MAKE SURE that I have copies upon copies of contracts, warranty notices, and everything before i buy one. I'll even record the guy selling me a vehicle so he can't bring up in court "no i didn't say that." Lol you got to crack down on these guys when you're willing to spend that much money.
