Chrysler hybrid minivan will be launched in 2013

marchionne has made it official: a hybrid version of the company's next-generation minivan is on its way, debuting in 2013.

Judging by what I've seen of hybrid vehicles from all the other manufacturers..., they'll be too expensive to ever recoup your higher initial cost. I'd like to be as environmentally friendly as I can..., but I will not pay what seems to be excessive price levels on the current hybrids.

At the current state of the art, I think I'd be more inclined to pay a little more for a more efficient, small, turbocharged Diesel, with an efficient multi-speed auto or a manual transmission.
