05 Sebring turning over but not starting

Hey guys, I'd really appreciate some input on how to fix this. A couple months ago, my car decided to spazz out on me and not accelerate. Took it to a mechanic and it came out to be the cam positioning sensor. When we replaced it, the problem went away and ran fine.

However, 2 days ago, while I was driving home my check engine light came on and in that same instant my car died. Now my car will crank but it won't start. When we attached the computer up, its reading that the problem is the cam positioning sensor again. We figured that wasn't the problem but we went ahead and replaced it again...and it still won't start. My bf even disconnected the cam positioning sensor and tried starting the car, but still nothing. Has this happened to anyone before? Appreciate any help!

2.4 L and no, I don't have one. I'm going to end up taking the car to my brother's shop. I was really just hoping it was a defective sensor..

Ugh I'd hope not seeing as I just replaced it in April.
