06 Sebring..p0499

Hi, looking for some advice/information. 2006 Sebring Touring V6 with 120,000 miles. Car has been driven maybe 25 miles a week avg in the past two years. It is my insurance car that is used in case something goes wrong with my daily vehicles or if a family member needs a vehicle. In the last month's time the wiper motor went out (replaced at the shop) and car has always past inspections. To determine wiper motor was dead I pulled and switched around fuses to confirm. Alas, in pulling fuses I set off several codes which I cleared with my code reader. Simultaneously, finally, the car sat long enough that the battery started dieing. Jump starting when needed went fine. Got to the point that the battery would drain and it would no longer accept a jump. Changed battery, she now starts. However, I am now still stuck with code p0499 which will not clear! I believe it is a NVLD Vent Solenoid issue. Is the solenoid located on the drivers side back near the firewall. It has an electrical connection and two hoses connected to it. If this is indeed the solenoid, I did pull the electrical connection off and it set off a p0443 code. I than plugged the connector back it and was able to immediately clear the code with no problem. But I still cannot clear the p0499 code. Does this mean the solenoid is probably bad. Could the wiper motor repair have unwillingly jostled something awry, and why can i not clear that code. I do realize that if I can clear the code it will only return when I restart and run the car... but why can i not clear it at all. Thoughts please!

Oh well, I guess there is no one interested in helping in anyway via thoughts or personal accounts with my code p0499 and reasoning why it cannot be deleted. Hope the forum can help other members.
