im having problems with a 2007 2.7l v6 144000 mls it died on an on ramp about 2 weeks ago everything worked except the start circuit turn key to start and nothing. all fuses were good. scanner wouldnt boot up but all connections on j1962 connector are good chrysler tech told me the ecm was most likely bad.replaced the ecm and still no change put in differant tipm and it started but died within 30 seconds and the fuse for the abs mod/j1962 connector/pcm blew 10 amp fuse at #34 in tipm.replaced it and tried again 3 times. put in 20 amp and started car.
engine ran fine tried several times. started everytime and the fuse didnt blow. i know i shouldnt use a higher amp fuse but i wanted to see if it would work.
i have not driven car yet in case its something bad. not sure where to go from here.
please help
