Default '08 Sebring Water leak into passenger footwell

I'm a new subscriber. i have a substantial water lead into the passenger foot well that seems to be an A/C problem. When I turn a left corner, I hear a sissling noise and water streams into the footwell and substantially soaks the carpeting etc. Help and/or suggestions anyone

Water is a natural outcome of the air conditioning operation. There is a drain to conduct it to the street. Yours has goten plugged, probably from debris that has fallen into the air intake in front of the windshield. The drain will be a hose that comes through the firewall into the engine compartment and points down, then stops. You may or may not be able to see it from above. It's usually made of soft rubber. You may be able to clear it by massaging it gently to break up the leaves and crud and thus opening the flattened end and allowing the stuff to fall out.

In between, about an inch or so.

Should a leaking heater core be ruled out? The "Sissling" (sizzling?) sound seems suspicious.

If it's hot and smells like antifreeze, then it's not "water". Hopefully, he knows the difference.
