and once again THAT SOUND IS NORMAL EVERY 41TE transmission sounds is normal
Fare warring that repair u will do at your own risk not advisable.

A couple of observations here. I've owned two Sebrings with 41TE transmissions and never noticed any noise like that.
As for the article, the guy bought a kit and rebuilt his solenoid pack. It's a lot easier and not much more expensive to just replace the solenoid pack as an assembly. He makes a good point about cleanliness in the process.
The guy in the article replaced the ATF +3 transmission fluid with ATF +4 fluid. That may not be such a great idea. If the transmission was designed around ATF +3 fluid then that's what you should use.
