1998 Sebring Convertible: Front end Grinding noise/Knocking
I have a 1998 Sebring convertible that has developed a grinding noise in the front end at low speed. As speed increases the noise becomes louder and seems like more of a knocking/thumping noise. I t becomes loudest at 40 mph and decreases in volume at 50-55 mph. Over 55 mph it starts to shimmy a little bit. It seems to be coming from the passenger side but may be coming from the center/front. I just replaced the pads and rotors all around and inspected the wheel bearings which seem good. Does anyone have an idea what this might be? I am thinking inner CV Joint.
