2.5 No Spark,

Vehicle with problem is 1997 Sebring convertible, 2.5L. Am wondering if anybody has a diagnostic sequence for a no spark condition. Have heard of many distributor problems with this vehicle. If someone has volt, ohm specs. for specific terminals at distributor or PCM it would be greatly appreciated. Or even test sequence for distributor, coil, PCM anything really would be awesome. Don't have access anymore to Mitchell On Demand and now I realize how nice it was. Typical, you don't know what you got until it's gone. LOL.

this is going to sound stupid, probably because it is, but i will ask anyway. on the distributor cap of this sebring, with an ohm meter from the center button to the post that sits in the coil, there should be continuity correct? this cap shows no continuity, if memory serves me that is not correct. have been out of the field for some time, so you can understand why i say this seems like a stupid question. for spark to go from the coil to each plug tower in the cap this needs to be a complete circuit, i think.
