2000 Chrysler Sebring JXi Convertible FOG LAMPS!!!

Just replaced the multifunction switch and the bulbs. Still nothing. What am I missing? Is there a relay or fuse that I am missing? I have the Chilton's and the orange cover factory manuals and cannot make sense of it. On another thread a relay was mentioned but not it's location.

Please HELP! I need the driving/fog lamps for night driving.

get a test light or volt meter see if there is power and ground to the bulbs then work your way back uses the manual wire diagram to trace it down.

I cannot read the diagrams. Just tell me where the relay is.

Seems to me that on mine (2001), the fog lamps won't come on with the headlights on. Try them without the headlights being on.

You mean the hi beams, right?

I went out and checked them again. They will not come on at all unless the headlights are on and the high beams are off. They are apparently designed to minimize the chance of blinding oncoming drivers. Headlights, fog lights and high beams all at once is a bit much. Fog lamps are designed to keep the light low and close to the car when visibility is bad. If you need high beams to see far down the road, then fog lamps to see close are superfluous.

If you are thinking you want all three sets of light on at the same time, then you are going to have to re-wire them. You'll probably need to put a relay in the circuit to be able to control when they come on.

If you need information about how to wire in a relay, try this:
