2000 Sebring no spark

Hello all I have a 2000 Sebring convertible and I just replaced the timing Beltane water pump and I got it together and now it won't spark. It has been a reliable car and I drove it in to the garage. I checked the distributor and it had a broken tab on the inside end of the shaft so I have replaced it but still no spark. It is all together except for the rt side motor mount. The car turns over fine but no spark. And yes I have checked timing marks several times and they line up. Thanks in advance Brian

Hmmmm. Most of the time with that engine, it turns out to be the distributor. People on ths forum have reported problem with non-OEM distributors, salvage distributors, etc. If you are happy with the quality of the replacement distributor you put in there, then the only suggestion I'd have would be to try replacing the crankshaft position sensor. The crank sensor and the cam sensor seem to not be happy with a new partner for some unknown reason. The cam sensor on this engine is in the distributor.
Maybe someone else will chime in with a thought.

Turns out it was a ground wire and the plug to the crankshaft pos sensor thanks for the suggestions Brian
