Default 2001 Chrysler Sebring Transmission Control Module

If I replace this with a new transmission control module will the code clear by itself. If not how do I clear the code. If I have to take it to a dealer, do they charge to clear the code for me. I took it to a transmission shop and they said it was definitely the transmission control module. Thank you in advance for any and all recommendations.

I have the same questions. Is there a tech monitoring these threads who is qualified to answer them?
