2002 2.7L engine chirping

My 2002 Sebring Convertible with a 2.7 L engine has started to chirp when it is cold outside. The chirping continues until the engine is warm and then it stops. It does not chirp when the outside temperature is in the mid to upper 40's or warmer. Anyone know what could be causing this? Thanks

No telling what a "chirp" is, but it could be a drive belt. There are two of them. Might just as well change both of them. Probably due for a change on an 11 year old car anyway.

The belts were changed about 2 years ago when the water pump was replaced.

Nobody can diagnose a sound over the internet. Next time it's cold, open the hood before you start the car and then start the car and listen for the sound with the hood open. You may at least determine where in the engine compartment the noise is coming from. A two-year-old belt can still be a source of noise. Not all belts are of the same quality and that belt may have sat on a shelf for years before being installed in your car.
