2003 lxi 3.0
 

I own a 2003 lxi with a 3.0 Mitsubishi engine. Has anyone modified their's for more HP? I know my car is basically a Mitsubishi Eclipse streched 3 inches so I was wondering if anyone has use after market Mitsu parts. Thanks

Actually, my neighbor who's also very interested in cars, suggested me getting a cold air intake for eclipse. (it was just a suggestion from the guy with no proof)

I do think that it might work for some parts, but right now I'm still trying to tune-up mine since I purchased it about a month ago.
And after I'm done with all the basic improvement, I might want to try to see if the eclipse parts work on mine.
For starters, I'm thinking maybe an intake and go from there.

Anyway, just out of curiosity, how many miles do you have on your engine?

First place to start is of course makin it breahte better which is cold air intake and exhaust they are usually the fastest and cheapest to do. And i think most aftermarket stores will tell ya if the stuff is good for your car.
