2004 Chrysler Sebring 2.4L I4 AC Compressor gone bad

Hello I've been having problems with my AC compressor on my 04 Sebring. At first it would seize whenever I would turn on the AC and cause the belt to burn. I read just don't turn it on and I would be fine so I decided to unplug power from AC compressor to be safe I don't turn it on by accident. I was able to drive around for a bit until the compressor started getting worse. At times it would throw out sparks and even smoke even though it wasn't turned on. I think it is starting to seize even though it is off. I read online that an ac compressor would seize eventually and it would be best to change it. I don't have the money to get it to a shop as I have barely enough for a 100 dollar compressor. I was trying to find a AC bypass pulley but I had no luck finding any. I read you can't use a shorter belt since the angle would be too tight and you need the belt to go around the AC on this specific engine. I was hoping anyone knew what I could do? Is it possible to gut the compressor or find a way to just have the ac pulley spin by itself. I want to change the ac compressor but I going to need to evacuate the system I've heard so that is another problem I got to get through. Any advice would be appreciated.
