2004 Leaking Convertible Top

I just got my Sebring 4 days ago. We had some heavy rains yesterday and the top is leaking on both driver and passenger sides. Enough that Ihad to put a bowl to catch the water. The leak seems to be coming fromwhere a seam is on the weather stripping. Is this a common problem? Is there a solution?
HELP!!

nope not a common issue unless something is messed with or wrong.
Plus if its real heavy rain nothng can be done about it its normal its not water proof.

We have the coupe for just that reason. If we want a convertible, we rent one. (And that is a blast! The last one was in Hawaii!)

All you can do to find it is to use a garden hose with a sprinkler to make it rain heavy while you sit in the vehicle and try to trace the water to it's source. (I assume that you are leaking when parked.) Don't spray directly at the vehicle as that creates leaks that aren't real except in a heavy wind storm. Look for small seam tears, odd folds in the top especially near the windows, stiff, squishy, or loose weather stripping, things like that.

Oh, and don't leave your baby out in the rain!!
