Default 2004 Sebring surging forward

I have a 2004 Sebring touring with the 2.7 I have had a problem a few times with the car surging forward with my foot on the brake at a stop. It is like someone put there foot on the gas and the car goes forward I have read a lot of complaints on the NHTSA about this problem. Has any one else had a problem like this with there Sebring..Thanks

Default RE: 2004 Sebring surging forward

I also have a 2004 Sebring that I have had nothing but problems with and am in the process of contacting the general manager of the Dodge store where I bought my Sebring as well as the owner of the dealership and Chrysler if I have to. My Sebring surges not when I am at a stop sign, but when I am driving with my foot completely off the gas, so much so that the tachometer goes up and down. I get the same response from the service department, "cannot duplicate the problem". It has also died on my 3-4 times and the top is leaking (it has been in twice so far for that problem)....all while under warranty. [:@]
