2006 2.7 EGR Valve
 

I'm trying to check the EGR valve, in my 2006 Sebring Touring 2.7l, but I'm having trouble locating it...please help with any instructions for location and removal.

Been driving the Jeep through the winter, but need the gas mileage of the Sebring...does my engine even have an egr valve? because I can't find it :)

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Back of the intake plenum, There should be a steel tube that runs up into the plenum. follow that tube down to the valve.

Why are you checking it if you arent sure you have one? A code ????

yes, code led me to it...know of any place to get a service manual?

this all started with cam positions sensor code - replaced
then air intake sensor code - replaced
could've swore had egr code, but maybe it's o2 sensor or something...do not see an egr valve on my engine, looks like there's a place to bolt one...anyhow, throwing the car back together, taking egr valve back and getting another diagnostic from auto zone...any advice or help is greatly appreciated.
