2007 Chrysler Sebring battery

Does anyone know a way to unplug the battery for a 2007 Chrysler Sebring. The battery is located between the splash guard and the left front light making it tough to get to. Does anyone know the steps to reach the battery so i can unplug it, anything will help.

Thanks

On my '97 the battery is in the same place. It is accessed by removing the front tire and removing the plastic inner wheel well splash guard.I suspect it's the same on yours. Just guessing though.

On my 01-02 Sebrings, the battery is in the same place. BUT, there's a remote connection under the hood on the left spring tower that you can easily access to disconnect the battery for servicing other components. It even has a little loop in the plastic of the connector to slip over the post to secure the end of the wire so it doesn't accidentally touch something.
Check your owners manual.

Yeah, just as I figured. I looked at some underhood pix of a Sebring for sale on eBay, and sure enough, there's a remote connection on the left spring tower. If you just need to disconnect the battery without removing it, disconnect the ground wire there. Slip the plastic loop over the stud and secure it with the nut.
