Default 2008 Sebring convertible intermittent no heat

My wife's Sebring has no heat. If she warms it up for a bit, then turns the car off and restarts it, sometimes the heat will come on.
I've taken it apart a couple of times but of course it works each time.

Any ideas?

Possible causes for no heat:

Low coolant

Plugged heater core

Plugged heater hose

Blend door motor failure

Mode door motor failure

Control head failure

Body computer failure

Blower failure

Probably others.
