2007 sebring 2.4 po455 code help requested
 

hello,
my daughter's 2007 sebring has the check engine light on. she told me it came on a few weeks ago for 2 days, car only stalled twice during that period and then on the 3rd day it went out. 3 weeks later it came back on, code is po455 "Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected Gross Leak/No Flow"

Any idea on where to start looking?

Start with checking that the GAS CAP is on tight. Then start in the LR corner looking at EVAP canister and hoses being cracked or broken.

thank you , i did check gas cap and it is tight, i will start looking underneath when it stops raining here. thanks again.

I had that once in the past, and even though the cap looked good, the code went away when I replaced the cap with a new one.

if it's not the fuel cap loose, and you don't see a broken hose any where from front to the tank, then you may need to have the evap system smoked to find the leak
