The problem with "Home" Charging Kits, is that you cant see "HIGH SIDE" pressure.

Hook up the gauge, and sit in the car..rev the engine to 1500rpm and hold it there for 15 seconds....

Now tell us what happens to that 30 PSI when the motor is revving.....

When I connected the Gauge and it showes 60 psi with engine off. Turn engine and AC on and it goes down to 30 psi and if you raise rpms it stays at 30 psi.

I found this on a web sit. Can one of the Chrysler guys on this forum tell if this could be my issue and is there any way for a DIY guys to tell if this is the issue?

Default Same issue with same model vehicle

I have a 2007 Chrysler Sebring as well and same issue. But a friend of mines was able to connect a wire to the negative battery jumper post so when I want A/C I have to open the hood connec the wire to the post and then close the hood and turn on the A/C like regular. When I don't need the A/C I have to remove the wire from the post so the clutch doesn't keep trying to engage I guess. Any idea if maybe a A/C switch or resistor has gone bad? Obviously its not the compressor and no leaks because its been working with this rigged up way for about 3 months now. Any help appreciated. I've searched the internet and have found some references where A/C resistors on older sebrings have caused similar issue.
