2008 Sebring 2.7l p013a code
had the 02 sensors replaced 3 times 2 times with local mechanic once by dealership... had the cat replaced (downstream one) was wondering if anyone else had this issue |
there is a number missing in the OBDII code that you posted this would tell if it is down stream or up stream? and you please repost the code and we can try to help you out.

I did take it to a dealership.... they said I need a new CAT.... (I did have it replaced)!wonder if they did a leak test |

Yes, the majority of all code problems diagnostic procedures are supposed to include a GOOD visual of the areas that can relate to a particular code, many times shops(dealers or otherwise) FORGET that!...I know, I worked for a number of independents and dealerships in my younger years. Many times management will not pay or allow techs for that time involved!

P013A code still comes back help me please
They did find a small exhaust leak fixed that but the code still comes back..... I’m about to give up on it |

As I posted before, even some things like EGR system faults(again air leakage) can give that code, it takes some "in depth" testing to find the cause for things like this. As I said, NOT plug and play to turn off a CEL...It is coming on for a reason and fault codes just give an area of the failure. There are many things that must be checked/TESTED for any code to pinpoint the cause to be able to effect a proper repair. You are not doing the work(and sadly footing a large monetary bill) for people that don't seem to want to follow complete diagnostic procedures....Hang in there, and good luck! |
