2008 Sebring 6cyl injector issue
 

Start the car and drive for any distances, if I then stop for a short time, and start it again I lose 1 of the 6 fuel injectors.

Let car sit for 4-5 hours runs fine.As long as I don’t shut off the engine for a short time period the problem doesn’t happen.

I had an engine light on prior to this; took car in and needed a battery.And attendant said one code was an issue with #5 injector.We hoped the new battery would fix the injector issue, but didn’t

Any thoughts?

Try a can of fuel injector cleaner. Doesn't cost much. Won't hurt anything. Might help.

Have you had the opportunity to try the injector cleaner?
Certainly something that wouldn't hurt.
The injector itself may be bad, bring your Sebring to your local Chrysler dealer as the injectors can be tested.
