2008 Sebring Door Locks
 

My driver door on my 08 sebring convertible will not lock. when the lock button is hit the lock will move but will not go all the way down and lock nor can you push the lock down.....HELP:confused:

Replace the latch.

The front door latch cables on some 2008 Sebring vehicles may become unseated from the interior release handle housing during certain operating conditions. This can cause the door latch to stick in the unlatched position or allow the lock function to become inoperative.

A latch cable retaining clip must be installed on the right and left front door interior
release handle housings.
