Default 2009 Sebring, MyGIG Voice Recognition wont' work??help please

Quick question, i just bought a brand new 2009 sebring with the in built sat nav, hard drive and bluetooth. The problem is, i've paired my phone up to it, which is fine, and it reliases when i make or recieve calls and the number comes up on the screen. However i can hear the person i am ringing through the car speakers but they cant hear me. I've pressed the power button the rear view mirror and it lights up green on the left hand side, there are no other buttons on the mirror, should there be any more??

can anyone help, the voice recog doesnt pick up any sound when i try and set up VR or record voice tags, it just repeats the sam question as if it isnt hearing me, which it quite clearly isnt.
Anyone got any suggestions and is there anyway to use my phone mic instead? should i get chrysler to repair?
thanks

When all else fails, try reading the owners manual.

Default mic

you need to buy a new rear view mirrior and loom from dealer as the standard mirrors do not have the microphone in them. you will have to pay though as it is not warranty.. hope this helps

The dealer should of went thru all that when you picked up the car, and should of showed you how everything works, go back there.
