Hello my wifes 2010 Seabring turns over but somethimes will not start. So she has to let off the key put it in the off position then turn the key over again then the car will start. Has anyone else had this problem? and will this lead to a bigger problem? also how to fix the problem

If it won't start, it is lacking either spark or fuel. Most of the time, if there's a problem with spark, since the spark is electronically controlled, it will throw a code, which can be read with a proper code reader. If there's no code, then there could be a fuel delivery problem. It's a place to begin.

Any chance this is a battery issue? I had this problem with a similar year car... it was odd, maybe a few times a year it would do this. Battery died, replaced it and hasn't done it since.
